These fresh strawberry yogurt bites are a quick, healthy, and delicious snack made with simple ingredients like Greek yogurt, fresh strawberries, and honey. Perfect for a refreshing pick-me-up or a guilt-free treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla, full-fat preferred)
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup for vegan alternative)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse 1 cup of fresh strawberries, hull, and dice into small pieces about 1/4 inch (6 mm).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of Greek yogurt, 1 to 2 tablespoons of honey, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Stir gently until smooth and well blended.
  3. If using, stir in 1 tablespoon of chia seeds and 1 teaspoon of lemon zest.
  4. Gently fold the diced strawberries into the yogurt mixture, trying not to mash them.
  5. Spoon the mixture into an ice cube tray or silicone mold, filling each cavity about 3/4 full. Tap the tray lightly on the counter to settle the mixture and remove air bubbles.
  6. Place the tray in the freezer and freeze for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight for best texture.
  7. Once frozen solid, pop the bites out of the molds and transfer to a freezer-safe container or bag. Store in the freezer until ready to enjoy.

Notes

Use full-fat Greek yogurt for creamier texture. Be gentle when folding in strawberries to avoid watery mixture. Freeze bites solid before removing to prevent crumbling. Run warm water over silicone mold bottom to loosen bites if stuck. Frozen strawberries can be used if thawed and drained well. Substitute honey with maple syrup or agave for vegan or different sweetness.
